A simple way to weigh 4-year tuition and hostel costs against realistic placement outcomes.

A college that costs more isn't automatically a better investment, and a cheaper one isn't automatically the safer choice. Here's how to actually compare them.
Tuition alone isn't the full picture. Add hostel, mess, and any mandatory fees across all four years, not just the first year's number that shows up in a brochure.
A headline "highest package" number tells you almost nothing. Ask instead:
Divide your total 4-year cost by the median placement package, not the highest one, to get a rough sense of payback time. A college with a slightly lower median package but a much lower cost can still come out ahead.
Placement data changes year to year and varies by branch within the same college. Treat any number, ours included, as a starting point for your own research, not a guarantee.
